Housemaid arrested

(Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police has arrested a housemaid who had stolen gold ornaments from the house of her employer worth Rs. 35 lakh and recovered them from her possession.

As per the details one Varalaxmi, has been working in the house of one Swapnika Reddy situated Nandagiri Hills, Jubilee Hills. On May 5, Varalxmi had fled the house after stealing the gold ornaments.

Swapnika Reddy had lodged a complaint and police had grilled all the servants of her house but Varalxmi could not be traced.

However, a team of Jubilee Hills police informed that Varalxmi was spotted at Krishna Nagar. After getting this vital information, police arrested her and recovered the ornaments.

Varalaxmi revealed that she had committed 12 such crimes in the past too.

Man brutally murdered at Hayathnagar

(Siasat News): A man was brutally murdered at Hayathnagar but the identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.

According to police Hayathnagar, some unidentified persons had killed the 25-year-old man by slitting his neck.

The dead body was recovered from the bushes. Police suspect that the killers might have thrown the body in the bushes and had fled the scene.

After panchnama, the dead body is shifted to mortuary for identification and further investigations are on.

Gambling den raided, 6 held

(Siasat News): Task Force police has raided an illegally run gambling den at Owaisipura, Humayun Nagar, arrested six persons and seized cash.

It is said that the gambling den was being run in a residential house. When police was informed about this, it raided the same house and not only arrested 6 persons but also seized Rs. 22000, 6 mobile phones and the playing cards used in gambling.

Later, they were handed over to Humayun Nagar police.

Insufficient salary led to suicide

(Siasat News): A man who was not satisfied with the salary he was drawing and took the extreme step of ending his life by hanging.

This incident occurred in Kukatpally Housing Board police station limits where private employee K Venkana Ranga Rao, 50, took the extreme step.

His wife and children were in Vijayawada and he had come to the city in search of a good job. However, he has been doing odd jobs but the salary was insufficient.

Police has registered a case.
