Lover suspected in student’s death
Hyderabad, February 17 (Siasat News): The body of a degree student was found hanging from the ceiling fan in her room.
The incident came to light when her father lodged a complaint with the police against her lover accusing him of having a role in her death.
It is alleged that her lover Imran, who is married man, was upset that she danced in a college programme. Further investigations are on.
Child marriage averted
Hyderabad, February 17 (Siasat News): The police and the officials of women and child welfare department have successfully averted a child marriage that was to be solemnized on Wednesday.
The parents of the 16-year-old girl have agreed to conduct the marriage a year later, the Karkhana inspector Mr. Subhash Babu, said.
Double murder suspect arrested
Hyderabad, February 17 (Siasat News): In connection with finding of two charred bodies in Rajendranagar area, which were found by the local people and the complaint was lodged with RGI police near Shamshabad.
Inspector Ravi Chandra has registered a case and during the investigation, one M Venkatiah, 45, said to be an auto driver residing in Laxmiguda was arrested.
