Notorious thief arrested
(Siasat News): The Central Crime Station, Madhapur arrested a notorious thief involved in various thefts and seized stolen materials from his possession valued lakhs of rupees.
The notorious thief M Raghuvender Reddy, 27, was involved in thefts in Narsingi, Rajendranagar and Cyberabad limits.
Earlier, he was arrested and sent to jail. However, after the release from the jail, he again started his criminal activities and this time he had committed the crime in Miyapur.
Police has also arrested a man trader who used to buy stolen goods from Raghuvender and seized goods valued at Rs. 4 lakh.
Two youths drown during swimming
(Siasat News): Two youths drowned during swimming in a pond. This incident occurred in Jagatgirigutta police station limits when four youths from Qaisar Nagar from Jagatgirigutta jumped into the pond.
However, out of these four youths two were not swimmers resulting in the accident and drowning.
The deceased are identified as Mohd. Aslam, 18 and Abdul Raheem, 21. Jagatgirigutta police with the help of the local youths fished out the dead bodies and sent them for post mortem to Gandhi Hospital.
Jagatgirigutta police has registered a case.
Woman techie ends life
(Siasat News): A woman techie allegedly harassed by her husband and other in-laws, took the extreme step and hanged herself to death.
It is said that the deceased Y Shweta, 31, was married to one Y Srikant ten years back. The couple has two daughters.
Her husband was politically ambitious and wanted that his wife should contest the GHMC elections conducted earlier in this year but Shweta had flatly refused to oblige her husband as he wanted that the constituency reserved for women candidates should be occupied by his wife.
When he realized that his wife was in no mood to contest, he started harassing her for more dowry and tortured her as well. Shweta was fed up of her husband’s behaviour and took the extreme step.
Police Ramgopalpet has registered a case against her husband and in-laws and the dead body was shifted to the mortuary of Gandhi Hospital.
