Man electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A man was electrocuted to death. This incident occurred in Saroornagar where one Prasad, 23, a glass fitter and the residence of Madhav Nagar colony, was working in a building situated in Saroornagar.
During the work, he was shifting an iron rod when he accidentally came into contact with a live wire and fell down on the ground from the building.
He had sustained several fractures and died in the hospital during the treatment.
Man dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident occurred in Nampally railway police limits when he was trying to cross the railway tracks between Nature Care Hospital and Fateh Nagar railway stations.
The unidentified deceased is about 40 years old. He did not realize that a train fast approaching him. Moreover, even the security guard near the platform did not alert him.
Railway police is further investigating.
Flour Mill raided and sealed
(Siasat News): The Special Operation Team (SOT) of Cyberabad police has raided a flour mill near Pahadi Shareef where adulterated chana atta was manufactured.
On a tip-off, the mill was raided and four persons are arrested. Police also seized 10 bags of Ramdev brand of atta (flour), 276 bags of chana dal, 9000 empty bags and other materials and sealed off the premises.
The mill is situated in the industrial area of Sriram colony. The four arrested persons were handed over to Pahadi Shareef police for further investigations.
One dies in road accident
(Siasat News): A man died in a road accident occurred at Pet Basheerabad in Cyberabad.
According to police sources, Ram Reddy, 44, a private employee, was passing from the area on his motorbike when he was severely hit by a speeding vehicle that killed him on the spot.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.
Woman abductor arrested
(Siasat News): Chilkalguda police has arrested a woman who had attempted to abduct an infant from Gandhi Hospital.
It is said that the unknown woman had entered the concourse of the hospital late last night and had abducted the infant from a ward.
However, when she was trying to shift the infant in an auto, the security guard turned suspicious and detained her.
When she was grilled, she admitted to security staff that she was trying to abduct the infant. Chilkalguda police was immediately informed and the police team reached there and arrested the woman.
The infant was later handed over to the mother. Police did not disclose the identity of the abductor woman.
