Youth drowns during swimming
(Siasat News): A youth drowned while swimming at Kotwalguda village of Shamshabad. As per the details, the deceased Mohd. Taufique, 16, resident of Suleman Nagar, Chintalmet in Rajendranagar.
Yesterday morning, he along with his two friends Aijaz and Meraj, reached Mansa Hills situated in Kotwalguda for swimming despite not being a swimmer. He entered the waters and soon he realized that he was drowning.
He started yelling for help but no one could save him. Police is grilling his friends.
Shamshaabd RGI police has registered a case and the dead body was handed over to the relatives of the deceased after post mortem.
Man’s 5th suicide attempt successful
(Siasat News): A man who in the past had attempted suicide four times but was not successful. He tried to end his life for the 5th time and this time, he hanged himself to death.
This incident occurred in Chikadpally police limits where the deceased Ajay Kumar, 30 took the extreme step. He was the resident of Padma Colony. He was in search of a job but not getting the job of his choice.
He was very upset for his unemployment and wanted to die. He had attempted suicide four times but God had something otherwise.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Another dowry death
(Siasat News): A nine-month-old bride whose family was not in a position to meet the demands of her in-laws for more dowry, committed suicide.
This incident occurred in L B Nagar police limits where Varsha, 25, committed suicide. According to police sources, the deceased was married to one Ranjeet of L B Nagar in March, 2015. Rs. 10 lakh cash, 50 tolas gold, 5 kilos silver and a plot of land in Nandi Hills were given at the time of the marriage.
Ranjeet was employed with railways and doing his duty as JD at Kazipet Junction. Despite the ‘attractive’ dowry, the greed of Ranjeet was not lessened. The parents of the deceased said that looking to the secured government job of Ranjeet; the dowry was given in plenty.
However, Ranjeet started demanding 16 acres of land and another Rs. 10 lakh from the parents of Varsha. He also harassed her to ask her parents to meet his demand as early as possible.
When Varsha realized that her husband has turned blind out of greed and would not mend his way, she took the extreme step of ending her life.
L B Nagar police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
