Auto driver held for alleged rape
(Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police has arrested an auto driver for allegedly raping a woman passenger. As per the details, the auto driver Syed Siraj, 38, resident of Rahmathnagar, was taking a woman passenger, resident of Jawahar Nagar.
However, during the course of journey, the woman asked the auto driver to stop the vehicle near Jankamma Baug in Yousufguda, as she wanted to relieve herself.
It is said that auto driver, taking disadvantage of the area being deserted, attacked the woman and inserted a piece of cloth into her mouth and allegedly raped her. Not only this, he also snatched her cellphone and Rs. 1500 cash.
The victim, lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police late last night. Police immediately came into action and arrested the auto driver and handed him judicial custody.
House burgled
(Siasat News): The burglars broke open the lock of a house and made their escape good with 30 tolas gold ornaments. This burglary took place at Chacha Nehru Nagar.
Police said that Naveen, a kirana shop owner, had gone to attend the marriage of his relative along with his family members to Yadgirigutta and the house was locked.
The burglars broke open the lock of the house and stole 20 tolas gold ornaments from the cupboard. Naveen’s neighbour noticed the broken lock and informed him by phone.
Naveen immediately reached Hyderabad and lodged a complaint with the police. Chikadpally police immediately reached the spot along with dog squad.
Forensic experts also took fingerprint samples from the objects of the house. Further investigations are on.
Constable arrested for sexual exploitation
(Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police has arrested an APSP constable for deceiving and sexually exploiting the daughter of police official.
Inspector Jubilee Hills Mr. D V Pradeep Kumar Reddy said that constable Satish Ram, 27 had sexually exploited Priyanka, 17, daughter of head constable William Kerry. She was an intermediate student.
Satish Ram promised Priyanaka that he would marry her. However, last year, he married another girl and trying to ignore Priyanka. She tried to persuade him that he should marry her but Satish kept on refusing.
Disgusted over this, Priyanka hanged herself to death on Decmber 8. In her complaint, Priyanka’s mother said that the deceased was seven months pregnant. Police has arrested Satish and sent him to jail.
