Alcoholic husband set wife ablaze
(Siasat News): An alcoholic husband set his wife ablaze at Rasoolpura in Begumpet. Inspector Begumpet Mr. Sri Hari said that the wife Padma who had sustained burn injuries last month, died.

She was the wife of Yadgiri. Both of them got married 20 years ago and have three children. He was an alcoholic and used to reach home in an inebriated condition every night and used to fight with his wife.

On December 19, both husband and wife exchanged heated argument and later out of rage, Yadgiri poured kerosene on his wife’s body and set her ablaze.

She was admitted in the hospital where she died during the treatment last night. Begumpet police is further investigating.

Dead body found in Medchal pond

(Siasat News): Medchal police has fished out the dead body of a woman from Medchal pond and registered a case of suspicious death.

Police sources said that the deceased Shiva Laxmi, 42, was the wife of one Laxman Reddy, resident of Medchal.

She had fallen into Medchal pond in suspicious circumstances. Further investigations are on.

Man dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A man died in a train accident occurred between Begumpet and nature Cure Hospital railway stations but the deceased is yet to be identified.

Railway police Nampally had stated investigations to ascertain the identity. The deceased is said to be in the age group of 25 to 30 years.

He was trying to cross the railway tracks without realizing that a fast train approaching.

Minor brutally murdered

(Siasat News): Police has recovered the dead body of a minor from a gutter who was mysteriously missing. Unknown assailants had brutally killed him and packed the dead body in a sack and thrown it into the gutter.

The minor is identified as Mohd. Abdul Nawaz.

Police said that old enmity might be the motive behind the murder. Police is keeping vigil on some goons of the area and a manhunt is also on.
