Youth killed as car crashes into lorry

Hyderabad, June 16: A 25-year-old youth was pronounced dead on Tuesday after battling for his life for two days in a private hospital after the car he was travelling crashed into a stationary lorry at Hayathnagar

According to police, the deceased has been identified as K Madhav Reddy, a native of Kodhar mandal, Nalgonda district. Madhav breathed his last at Kamineni Hospital, LB Nagar.

The mishap took place on June 12 near Ramoji Film City when Madhav was returning along with his family in a car.

The car was being driven by his relative, who lost control of the car and crashed into a stationary lorry on the highway.

Man dies after slipping into open Nala

Hyderabad, June 16: A 25-year-old man was killed when he slipped down an open Nala at Prashant Nagar, Langar Houz late on Monday night.

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Gopal.

Gopal had just come out of his house when he skidded on the wet mud from the recent rains and slipped down the open Nala.

The Nala had been left open after recent de-silting works carried out there.

GHMC workers recovered Gopal’s body about 200 metres away from the opening in the Nala.

They informed the police who shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy.

His body was later handed over to his relatives.
