Police crackdown in Osmangunj, 50 arrested
(Siasat News): The East zone police has conducted a cardon and search operation at Osmangunj where 50 suspicious persons were arrested and 45 motorbikes were seized.
The operation was led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (East Zone) Dr. V Ranvinder comprising of 150 police officials.
The arrested persons belonged to Bihar and are shifted to Afzalgunj police station for further interrogations.
Groom fled after 3 days of marriage
(Siasat News): Central Crime Station (CCS) police has registered a case of dowry and harassment against a software engineer from London who had left his wife after three days of marriage.
As per the details, the victim N Prashant, resident of Ramannapet colony, Santoshi Ma Nagar in Warangal, had uploaded her bio-data on a marriage website.
The software engineer from London Shravan Kumar saw her details and contacted her on phone. However, Shravan Kumar later informed Prashant that his parents were not in agreement with this alliance and proposed her to get married in a way lover do.
This is how they got married on June 6, 2015. Shravan Kumar shifted his wife to his house situated at SBH colony, L B Nagar and lived with her like husband and wife for three days.
In the meantime, Shravan Kumar’s parents started harassing him for marrying against their wishes and compelled him to leave for London.
Shravan Kumar was under his parent’s pressure and left for London without informing his wife. Prashant immediately lodged a complaint with Warangal police.
