Son kills father
(Siasat News): A 50-year-old man was brutally murdered by his son at Bandlaguda under Ramchandrapuram police station limits.
According to police, the victim K Venkatramanna, an alcoholic from Chandanagar, used to come home drunk and harass his wife, son and daughter.
Unable to bear the harassment of his father, the victim’s son Jeevan Prasad took him to an isolated place on the outskirts of Bandlaguda and make him consume liquor and later stabbed him to death.
He confessed the crime before the police saying that it was a pre-planned murder. Further investigations are on.
Man fell from the building, dies
(Siasat News): A man fell down from the top of a building in suspicious circumstances in Kukatpally.
According to police sources, the deceased Venkat Rao, 45, resident of Bharat Nagar, was fixing a signboard on a shopping mall in the area.
During the work, he might have lost his control and fell down on the ground. He was admitted to the hospital with multiple injuries and died last night during the treatment.
Further investigations are on.
