Hardware engineer and accomplice arrested
(Siasat News): The south zone team of commissioner task force has arrested two persons and seized pistol and cartridges from their possession and foiled their attempt to loot.
According to the details, C Madhu, 30, who is a computer hardware engineer, came to know about the transfer of the hawala money in the city.
He hatched a conspiracy to loot the same money and had contacted one Deepak Kumar who had recently bought a pistol and cartridges from one Pappubhai of Dehradun after spending Rs. 60,000 and promnised Deepak Kumar to give him the half share from the looted booty.
As per the plan, both Madhu and Deepak were waiting for their prey at Uppal bus stop, then task force arrested them and recovered the pistol and cartridges from their possession and handed them over to Gopalapuram police.
Missing boy found murdered
(Siasat News): A 10-year-old boy who had gone missing from his house in Chatrinaka nearly 40 days ago was found to have been murdered in Shadnagar in the first week of April.
The victim Karthik was the son of GHMC employee Krishnaiah from Falaknuma. Karthik had gone missing after he left home on April 5 and a case was registered at Chatrinaka police station.
As part of the investigation, Chatrinaka police examined photographs of boys found dead in various police stations in the city and surrounding areas. When they got to know about the body of an unidentified boy found in Shadnagar in the first week of April.
On Tuesday, a team of Chatrinaka police went to the Shadnagar police station along with the family members of Karthik and confirmed the dead body as of Karthik’s after seeing the photograph. Shadnagar police had found the body at an isolated place behind the Shadnagar railway station and registered a murder case.
A few days after the post mortem, the body was buried by police. The assailants had murdered Karthik by throwing a boulder on his head. Police further said that after the boy had disappeared, his family did not receive any ransom calls. Police has launched a manhunt to trace the murderers.
Mother kills infant
(Siasat News) In a heart-wrenching incident, a mother killed two-year-old infant. As per the details, the accused Meena Kumari who used to quarrel with his husband Narsimha.
On the occasion of the birthday of the infant, the accused demanded money from her husband but he denied to give any money. Enraged over this, the woman strangulated her own child to death.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
