Conman arrested for duping girls
(Siasat News): Cyber Crime police CCS has arrested a conman who had duped girls through matrimonial websites.
As per the details, M Vamshi Krishna, 28, resident of Borabanda, had shown himself as a bachelor on various matrimonial websites and this is how he had eight girls with lakhs of rupees.
The modus operandi of Vamshi was that he used to contact the parents of the girls who sought the alliance for their daughters. He used to visit them in costly cars in order to impress them. He used to convince the girls that his parents are abroad and this is how he used to financially exploit them.
However, the mother of a girl had lodged a complaint with Cyber Crime police saying that Vamshi had taken Rs. 6,10,000 from them on the pretext of the marriage and said that Vamshi had claimed that the big house at Jubilee Hills belonged to him whereas in reality, the house belonged to Vijayawada MLA.
Vamshi had one more feather in his cap. He used to visit brothels and collect ‘mamool’ by posing himself as TV channel reporter.
For this, he was arrested in 2010 too. Cyber Crime inspector Majid Ali Khan has arrested him and further investigations are on.
Man electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A man electrocuted to death during the sleep in Narsingi police station limits where P Narsiah died in suspicious circumstances.
According to police, Narsiah, resident of Puppalguda, was working as a driver. Last night, he went to sleep after coming back from his work.
However, during the sleep, he came into contact with some of the loose live wires and sustained burn injuries. He was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Running car caught fire, passengers safe
(Siasat News): The busy stretch of the city Begumpet witnessed a queer incident that created panic and sensation among the people when a running car caught fire.
As per the details, one Uday Kumar, resident of Gachibowli, was passing from Begumpet area and all of a sudden the engine of the car caught fire which turned the entire car into flames.
Uday Kumar was traveling with his driver, wife and children. No report of injuries so far. The police with the help of fire brigade extinguished the fire.
This incident caused the traffic jam in busy Begumpet area. The investigations are on.
Money misappropriation in AP Bhavan
(Siasat News): The VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Nampally Criminal Court has convicted a government employee of AP Bhavan in New Delhi in connection with misappropriation of funds for three year jail term.
As per the details, CID had registered a case against a junior assistant P Nageshwar Rao and typist G Satya Narayana Murthy following the complaint of Principal Accountant General, Hyderabad in 1997.
The CID had submitted charge sheet on Januray 25, 2003. During the course of the trial Satya Narayana Murthy died.
However, the judge convicted Nageshwar Rao in forgery and criminal conspiracy for three-year jail and Rs.200 fine.
