Man arrested for keeping two passports

Hyderabad, June 14 (Siasat News): Police task force west zone has arrested 29-year-old Shahbaz Ali Khan, resident of Pattigadda, Secunderabad for keeping two passports at the same time.

Police has recovered both the passports, which were issued with different names. He had obtained first passport in 1981 and was trying to go abroad but could not do so as he was a minor then.

Shahbaz then contacted the brokers and presented fake documents in which his year of birth was mentioned as 1973 and got the passport.

He is handed over to Begumpet police station.

Fake CD, DVD seized

Hyderabad, June 14 (Siasat News): Task force north zone had raided a shop in the name of Shaad Enterprises situated near Parklane in Secunderabad and seized pirated CDs and DVDs.

Police arrested one Srikant who violating the copyright act, making fake CDs and was associated with Shaad Enterprises on commission basis and handed over to Mahankali police.

Further investigations are on.

Burial led to controversy

Hyderabad, June 14 (Siasat News): At Nacharam, the situation turned tense when a Hindu was buried in a Muslim graveyard.

It is said that there is a graveyard at Nacharam, which is in dispute for quite some time. Two days ago, a Hindu was buried in the graveyard but people kept quite.

When another Hindu dead body brought here for burial, the local people here raised objection and protested. Nacharam police immediately reached to the spot and situation is under control now.

The local MLA is allegedly said to be behind this dispute.

The locals protested against the burial of Hindus in Muslim graveyard and termed it as an act of provocation.

Antiques seized

Hyderabad, June 14 (Siasat News): The team of south zone task force has arrested a man and seized antique items of 19th century era.

According to the police, M Brahmaprasad, 41, and said to be a trader, was living near Imliban. He is the native of Ongole. Police arrested him when he was trying to sell the antiques near Midhani.

Police asserted that during interrogation, Brahma admitted that he got those antiques at the time of the construction of his house when scaffolding was going on.

The antiques are comprised of an earthen pot (Surahi) and a bottle belonged to East India company era.

Brahma is handed over to Kanchan Baug police.
