7 more held for violent clashes
(Siasat News):The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the city police arrested seven more people in connection with the violence in some parts of the old city.
They were arrested for damaging RTC buses and pelting stones. Meanwhile the curfew was relaxed for four more hours from 6 am to 8 pm as the situation has improved.
Chemical blast kills woman
(Siasat News): A blast in a chemical factory at Laxminagar colony, IDA Uppal on Friday, killed a 30-year-old woman.
The deceased was identified as Shanthamma, a resident of Ramanthapur. According to inspector Laxmikantha Reddy, the incident took place at Shobha enterprises when she was cleaning a can with chemicals. Further investigations are on.
