Journo held for sex trade

Hyderabad, December 14 (Siasat News): Vanasthalipuram police raided a flat and arrested a woman journalist for running the sex trade, following a tip off.

Two sex workers were rescued. The woman, Yashodara, claimed that she is a journalist working with a Telugu daily Ujwala Jatiya.

Police also found the ID card of the daily with her. Further investigations are on.

Man kills wife, escapes

Hyderabad, December 14 (Siasat News): A 28-year-old woman was murdered by her suspicious husband at L B Nagar on Tuesday morning.

According to L B Nagar inspector Shivashankar, Sujatha, a resident of of Gunti Janjaiahnagar colony near L B Nagar crossroads, married Krishna, 30, a plumber, about 10 years ago.

The couple has three children. The couple used to quarrel. Of late, Krishna started suspecting Sujatha’s fidelity and this led to frequent quarrels.

Krishna killed Sujatha by smashing her head with a wooden pestle. Their 4-year-old daughter witnessed the killing and told her aunt about the murder after Krishna escaped from the scene.

Following a complaint, L B Nagar inspector Sridhar registered a case and started the investigations.
