Attempt to loot ATM foiled, one held
(Siasat News): Rajendranagar police has arrested a thief who tried to loot an ATM machine.
In the meantime, Rajendranagar inspector Mr. Venkat Reddy said one Raju alias Mallesh, resident of Vaddar Basthi, Trimulgherry, broke open the lock of the Syndicate Bank ATM situated near pillar No. 180 near Upperpally but could not rob the money.
Police has arrested him and produced him in a local court from where he was sent to jail.
Newly married man ends life
(Siasat News): A 20-year-old man Inzamam-ul- Haq committed suicide by consuming pesticide just two months after his marriage. This incident occurred in Narsingi police limits.
It is said that after the marriage, both husband and wife allegedly started fighting with each other though it was a love marriage. The deceased was the resident of Pupalguda and was unemployed.
Remaining so even after the marriage created financial problems in the household resulting in the duo always at the loggerheads.
On October 6, Inzamam had consumed poison and was admitted to a hospital where he died last night during the treatment. Police Narsingi is further investigating.
Husband commits suicide after row with wife
(Siasat News): A man, who had exchanged heated argument with his wife, hanged himself to death. This incident occurred in Gandhi Nagar police limits where one Narendra, 25, took vengeful step and ended his life.
He was a private electrician by profession and has been living at Arena Jog colony in Gandhi Nagar. He was under mental pressure after the row with his wife and took the extreme step.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Fake police fled with gold ornaments
(Siasat News): In a film-type situation, some persons who posed as police personnel, fled with 8-kilo gold ornaments by duping the traders in the busy area of the city i.e. Lakdikapul.
According to police sources, one Jeetendra and his two other associates, said to be gold traders, had reached the city yesterday from Mumbai with 10 kilos gold ornaments.
After selling 2 kilos jewelleries to various gold traders, they were waiting to board a bus to go back to Mumabi at Lakdikapul along with remaining 8 kilos gold.
Just then, some persons in mufti reached there and posed as police personnel. They searched their luggage and found 8 kilos gold ornaments and all of a sudden fled from the scene.
Saifabad police has registered a case and a manhunt has begun.
