Suitcase containing cash, stolen

Hyderabad, February 14 (Siasat News): The suitcase of a passenger containing cash and gold ornaments was stolen from an RTC bus during the journey when the bus was nearing Kadla, east Godavari.

The passenger was a jeweler from Coimbatore. The jeweler has lodged a complaint that his suitcase containing Rs. 13.5 lakh in cash and 2 kilo gold ornaments.

Police has started the investigations.

4 die as car turtles

Hyderabad, February 14 (Siasat News): Four persons died when the car in which they were traveling, turtles in Nellore.

The car was in full speed and the driver lost the control and rammed in a jungle and later fell in a deep pit.

Money stolen from airport

Hyderabad, February 14 (Siasat News): An incident of theft took place at Rajiv Gandhi International airport from where Rs. Two and half lakhs were stolen from the bag of a passenger.

According to the details, R D Singh is a private employee in Krishna district. He had gone to Mumbai for some work and came back by Jet Airways. At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, his bag was checked and later handed over to him.

However, when Singh reached home, he found Rs. Two and half lakhs stolen from his bag. He immediately contacted the Jet Airlines authorities but they neither took interest in this matter nor took any effective measure.

On this, Mr. Singh lodged a complaint with RGI police. Sub-inspector Bhaskar has registered a case and further investigations are on.
