Sons’s illness led mother to suicide
(Siasat News): A woman who was at the receiving end as both her parents and in-laws reprimanded her for beating her sick son.
She was so dejected that she took the extreme step of ending her life. This incident occurred in Mailardevpally police station limits where Sameena Khatoon ended her life.
She was the wife of one Sheikh Khaleel of Saifee colony. Inspector Venkat Reddy said that Sameena’s son was affected by TB and she was under mental pressure.
Moreover, her husband has been working in Dubai and she had no one to share her sorrows with. Yesterday, she had scolded her son badly and even beat him. Over this, her in-laws were angry and reprimanded her. They also informed Sameena’s parents about her attitude with her son.
They came to Sameena’s house and did a long counseling and left. However, Sameen late in the night, hanged herself to death. Police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.
Man hit by vehicle, dies
(Siasat News): An unidentified man was hit by an unknown vehicle at Madanpally in Shamshabad.
The 40-year-old man was crossing the road when the accident occurred killing him on the spot.
Shamshabad police has registered a case and the dead body is shifted to Osmania Hospital for identification.
Money-lender ends life
(Siasat News): A man took the extreme step of ending his life at L B Nagar. Police sources said that Venkat Rama Rao, 63, resident of Boduppal, had lent some money to a man.
However, the indebted man was not in a position to repay the money. This problem was solved by the indebted man by registering a plot of land in the name of the money-lender Rama Rao.
In the meantime, Rama Rao came to know that the plot of land that was registered in his name was already registered in the name of two persons.
A dejected Rama Rao consumed pesticide on August 11. He was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment last night.
Police is further investigating.
