Auto driver attempts suicide
(Siasat News): The demotinisation of the 500 and 1000 currency notes brought commotion in the otherwise peaceful life of the people including an auto driver who was running out of money to pay his finance money for the vehicle, attempted suicide by pouring kerosene on his body.
This incident occurred at Armor in Nizamabad. As per the details, the auto driver Sheikh Basheer, 35, had taken a loan of Rs. 2 lakh from a private finance company to buy a new autorickshaw. He had to pay a monthly instalment of Rs. 6000.
Last week, he kept the amount of 6000 ready in 500-rupee notes that he was intended to pay on November 10. In the meantime, from the evening of November 8, Govt. of India had cancelled the circulation of these notes putting the entire nation in trouble.
Basheer was running from one bank to another to replace the currency notes but failed to do so. A dejected Basheer then took the extreme step of ending his life.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Man ends life after row with wife
(Siasat News): A man, who had a tiff with his wife, ended his life last night. The deceased Srinivas, 27, resident of Shivrampally was upset due to the domestic problems.
Moreover, his wife used to fight with him a lot for one or the other petty matters. Srinivas was very upset over the attitude of his wife and hanged himself to death.
Rajendranagar police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
