Domestic help arrested

(Siasat News): Golconda police has arrested a man who was working in a house as a domestic help for stealing gold ornaments and the cash from the house.

Inspector Mr. Khaleel Pasha said that a complaint was lodged by one Venkanna Babu on December 19 last year where he had said that Rs. 3,40,000 cash was stolen from the house.

At that time, police had registered a case and started the investigations. During the course of investigations, police had detained the domestic help Chintala Venu, native of Guntur and grilled him.

When police threatened him for using third degree, the accused had no option but to admit the crime he had committed. Police recovered Rs. 2,70,000 from his possession.

Company downed shutter after duping customers

(Siasat News): A trading company in Bowenpally had deceived its customers to the tune of crores of rupees and later downed its shutter without letting the customers know about it.

It is said that Expert Trading Company was doing share business and had collected crores of rupees from hundreds of customers in the name of investment and making a false promise that they would get rich dividend from the stock market.

This is how the company had collected Rs. 4 crore and abruptly closed its office and fled. A case of fraud is registered and further investigations are on.

Delayed departure to Gulf led to suicide

(Siasat News): A youth who was very enthusiastic to go to Gulf country to earn his livelihood, committed suicide as his departure was delayed for one or the other reason.

It is said that the deceased Mohd. Aijaz, 25, a driver and resident of Hashamabad, Bandlaguda, was very much interested in doing his job in a gulf country.

However, his relatives had promised a job abroad and had taken Rs. 40,000 from him. Aijaz had undergone a medical test too.

When his departure got delayed despite paying the money for one or the other reason, he was dejected and hanged himself to death.

Chandrayangutta police has registered a case and further investigations are underway.

Woman dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A woman who was trying to cross the railway tracks near Nampally railway station, was hit by a train and died.

According to Kachiguda railway police the deceased Atharunnisa Begum, 50, was crossing the tracks near platform No. 5 when she was hit by a train that killed her on the spot.

Railway police has registered a case.
