Woman commits suicide
(Siasat News): A woman who was allegedly dragged in a theft case, committed suicide, as she was heart-broken.
This incident occurred in Shivrampally police station limits where Priyanka, 24, took the extreme step after she was subject to the constant harassment by her relatives.
According to the police inspector Shivrampally police station Mr. Venkatesh, the deceased poured kerosene on her body on September 5 and set herself ablaze.
She died in a hospital during the treatment. She was the wife of one Ramesh. Her maternal aunt lived in Chhatrinaka.
However, there a theft in her house and Priyanka was allegedly blamed to be involved. She was forced to return the money. When Priyanbka could not tolerate the harassment, she committed suicide. Police has registered a case.
Man drowns during swimming
(Siasat News): A man Mohd. Sultan, 55, drowned in a pond during swimming in Shivrampally police station limits.
According to police, the deceased was the native of Jahangirabad and was the centering labour.
Yesterday he had gone to Pallecheru for swimming but unfortunately drowned in the pond. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
