Three held for making fake currency
(Siasat News): Amberpet police has nabbed a three-member gang involved in making fake currency notes and seized materials from their possession.
Giving the details, additional deputy commissioner police, East Zone, Mr. M Venkateshwar Rao said that G Srinivas Reddy of Karimnagar along with his two associates Rajsekhar alias Balu and Venkat Reddy, was making fake currency notes with the help of computer scanning.
They are arrested from Ramanthapur Vinayak Nagar chowrastha. Police also seized 906n fake currency notes of Rs. 100 denomination.
A case has been registered against them. They were later produced before the magistrate and from there handed over to judicial custody.
Pedestrian crushed to death
(Siasat News): An RTC bus from Rajendranagar depot, crushed a pedestrian to death. The uncontrolled bus damaged other vehicles too.
As per the details, a bus from Rajendranagar depot went haywire as the driver lost the control. The bus hit a car, an auto and a motorbike but also crushed a passer-by to death.
The deceased was identified as one Raju, 27 of Miyapur. This accident sent shock waves in the locality.
Asifnagar police reached the spot of the accident and shifted the dead body to Osmania Hospital
