Gambling den raided at Jubilee Hills
Hyderabad, August 12 (Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police conducted a raid on a gambling den situated and arrested 20 gamblers and seized lakhs of rupees.
According to the police, it was revealed that a gambling den namely Elite Club was illegally conducting gambling activities in the club premises.
Hence the raid was conducted and all were arrested who were present at that time. Further investigations are on.
Medical store looted in broad daylight
Hyderabad, August 12 (Siasat News): The unidentified robbers looted a medical store at L B Nagar in broad daylight.
The robbers were carrying guns and knives with them. Hetero Medical store was situated on the main road. They robbers had come there in the guise of the customers and asked bandage from the employee Hari Prasad.
When he went inside to bring the same, the robbers also followed him inside the shop and threatened Hari with their weapons.
Hari could not get any chance to raise alarm. The robbers looted Rs. 11,500 from the counter and fled.
Police L B Nagar has registered a case and investigations are on.
Man ends life
Hyderabad, August 12 (Siasat News): A 35-year0old man Md. Yaqoob committed suicide in the Begumpet police station limits.
He was the resident of Indramma Nagar. On the night of August 10, he poured kerosene on his body and set himself ablaze.
He was immediately shifted to the hospital but he died during the treatment.
The cause of the suicide is yet to be ascertained. Police Begumpet is investigating.
Fraudulent Disco Baba arrested
Hyderabad, august 12 (Siasat News): Commissioner Task force east zone team arrested a fraudulent disco baba that used to deceive people in the name of finding the hidden treasures.
It is said that Anwarullah Khan, 56, alias disco baba is the former rowdy sheeter of Tappa chabutra police station and Asifnagar police had arrested him in fraud cases in the past.
It was also disclosed that Anwar Khan was running a clinic in Mustaidpura where as claimed by him, patients of polio and other diseases were treated.
As he was fast ageing and was running out of bucks, he decided to dodge the people in order to earn his livelihood.
This is how he dodged one Md. Meraj of Vattepally as he asked him that he would give him a hidden treasure worth diamonds and gold.
Meraj was gradually relieved of Rs. 8 lakh. Police recovered 5 fake gold biscuits and 12 fake American diamonds.
Arrested disco baba was handed over to Tappa chabutra police station.
