Animal’s horn recovered from passenger
(Siasat News): The custom officials of Rajiv Gandhi International airport have recovered the horn of a wild animal from a woman passenger.
As per the details, the said woman reached the airport from Riyadh on July 9 and went home. However, she reached the airport once again and this time with a complaint of loss of one of her bags.
The custom officials traced the bag somehow and during its screening, the horn of the animal was detected. Over this, the woman passenger was grilled but she could not give satisfactory replies.
In the meantime, the horn is being sent to forest officer to assess its monetary value and the name of the animal it belonged.
The woman is not arrested but a case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Son commits suicide over mother’s reprimand
(Siasat News): A son hanged himself as his mother had reprimanded him over some petty matter.
This incident occurred in Kukatapally police station limits where R Bhim Rao, 20, son of one Krishna of Moosapet. He was a centering worker and used to live with her parents.
Yesterday, over some petty matter, his mother had reprimanded him, which he could not take into his stride and took the extreme step of ending his life.
Police is further investigating.
Man electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A man electrocuted to death in Alwal. 55-year-old Yadgiri was the son of one R Swamy, a resident of Alwal.
As per the details provided by police, Yadgiri was busy repairing some electric wires on July 8. All of a sudden he was burnt as the electric current was there in the wire.
He was shifted to the hospital where he died during the treatment.
