Burglars steal 20 tolas of gold
Hyderabad, July 12 (Siasat News): Burglars broke into the house of a retired technical engineer and stole 20 tolas of gold ornaments at Banjara Hills here late on Saturday night.
The victim Mr. Rajendra Prasad, is a resident of Pragathi Nagar. According to the Banjara Hills police, the offenders gained entry into the house by breaking open the lock of the rear door.
The police registered a case of house burglary and investigating.
Fake tiger skin seized
Hyderabad, July 12 (Siasat News): A real estate agent who was trying to sell a fake tiger skin was nabbed by a team of East Zone Task force, here on Sunday. The businessman was trying to sell a dog skin which was made up like a tiger skin.
He was nabbed while scouting for prospective customers at Kachiguda. The accused, S Kishore, 29, is a resident of Adilabad.
Kishore confessed to the police that his acquaintances asked him to procure a tiger skin, since he frequented Srisailam.
RPF constable injured
Hyderabad, July 12 (Siasat News): A Railway Protection force constable sustained injuries after a pistol went off at the battalion in Maula Ali here on Saturday.
According to the details, Mr. Balaraju and Mr. Ravinder are constables with VII RPF battalion, Maula Ali.
On Saturday, while Mr. Ravinder was unloading his 9 mm pistol it went off and pierced Mr. Balaraju’s thigh.
Agent’s harassment led to suicide
Hyderabad, July 12 (Siasat News): A private security guard committed suicide as he was being harassed by a bank’s recovery agent.
According to the details, Mahinder Prasad, 27, had taken a loan of Rs. 40,000 from ICICI bank. As his financial condition worsened, he was not in a position to pay the monthly instalment to repay his loan.
Out of this, the recovery agents of the bank started frequenting his house. Today afternoon, a recovery agent once again visited his house and behaved indecently which made him heart broken.
Mahinder Prasad then came out of his house along with his wife and children and hanged himself. Mahinder Prasad’s wife Lavanya lodged a complaint in Naredmet police station.
Inspector Naredmet Mr. K Venkat Reddy said this. Further investigations are on.
