House burgled
(Siasat News): The unidentified burglars looted gold ornaments from the house of a retired IAS officer situated at Banjara Hills Road No. 14.
As per the details, the retired officer Mr. Hari Haran Johar used to go out for walking in the morning hours along with his wife.
Yesterday, he had gone out as usual. However, when he came back, he found the almirah of the house broke opened and gold ornaments worth Rs. 25 lakh were stolen.
Banjara Hills police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
Goldsmith dies in suspicious circumstances
(Siasat News): A goldsmith died in Monda Market in suspicious circumstances.
However, police sources said that the goldsmith had inhaled the chemical, which is used for cleaning the ornaments and became unconscious and was admitted to hospital but died during the treatment.
The deceased Hanumanthu, 45, was a blacksmith and used to run a shop in Monda Market.
Police is further investigating.
Friend’s harassment led to suicide
(Siasat News): A 29-year-old man in Marredpally committed suicide over the harassment of his friend. Police sources said that K Kishore was a labour and on April 2, he had poured kerosene on his body and set himself ablaze.
He was admitted to hospital where he died during the treatment. The deceased was under constant harassment by his friend Kumar.
The cause of the harassment is yet to be ascertained. Further investigations are on.
