Betting gang busted, eleven held
(Siasat News): The sleuths of task force, east and south zone team, raided a flat in Gopikrishna residency, New Bagh Amberpet and nabbed eleven persons including two organisers for cricket betting and seized cash and other things like LCD TVs, laptops, printers and set top boxes.
Further investigations are on.
Infant found dead
(Siasat News): the body of a newborn baby girl was found abandoned in an open drainage in Arundhati Colony, Santoshnagar.
Local found her body floating face down and alerted the cops who suspect that her parents had abandoned the body after she was stillborn.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on to trace the parents of the dead baby.
NRI murder case solved
(Siasat News): The Mallardevpally police solved the murder case of NRI Syed Mohammed, 30, and arrested four persons in connection with the crime.
Police said that the prime accused had an extramarital affair with Syed’s wife. When Syed had returned from Saudi Arabia recently, he learnt about the illicit relationship and had warned the accused.
Fearing that Syed would be a threat in the future, he was eliminated.
The accused are Farooq, Jaffer, Naseeruddin and Razzaq, all close friends and residents of Mallardevpally.
They are sent to judicial custody.
