Husband sets wife ablaze

Hyderabad, February 1 (Siasat News): A man allegedly set his wife ablaze last night in panjagutta. This incident sent shock waves in the city and the angry people of the locality handed over the man to the police.

 The deceases Tasleem Sultana, 25, was the wife of one Sheikh Mahboob. Both of them got married in 2005 and have two children. However, four years back, Mahboob developed the bad habit of boozing and used to come home in drunken state and harassed his wife.

Upset over the habit of her husband and financial conditions, Tasneem Sultana had opened her small kirana shop. Even this did not bring any change in Mahboob’s bad habit. Last night he had heated argument with Tasneem and subsequently set her ablaze.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Failed love affair led to suicide

Hyderabad, February 1 (Siasat News): A young girl committed suicide in Jubilee Hills police station limits after failing in her love affair.

Ramana Santosh Vani, 24, a software employee, took the extreme step and hanged herself in her house.

According to police sources, following a complaint of the landlord, police broke open the door of the house and found the dead body of Vani in a decomposed state.

She was the native of west Godavari. She was the resident of Rahmathnagar and was in love with a boy. However, this love did not blossom.

Out of disgust, she took the extreme step. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Snooker Parlour raided

Hyderabad, February 1 (Siasat News): The east zone team of commissioner task force has raided a snooker parlour being run illegally.

The manager of the M S edition snooker parlour, Kishore was arrested in Barkatpura. To take further action against him, he was handed over to Kachiguda police.

Woman ends life in Borabanda

Hyderabad, February 1 (Siasat News): A 27-year-old woman Laxmi, who was working in a tailoring center, ended her life by hanging at H S Nagar, Borabanda.

She had a scuffle with her colleague Kumari and the matter was forwarded to the police. Kumari had alleged that Laxmi had stolen her purse and out of anger, she (Kumari) had snatched the earrings of Laxmi. When this matter was brought to the police, Kumari was instructed by the police to return Laxmi’s earrings.

After this, Kumari had gone to laxmi’s house with her husband and quarreled with her and even assaulted her.

A disgusted Laxmi, then informed contacted her husband and said that she was committing suicide. By the time, her husband and other neighbours could reach her house; she had taken the extreme step. Further investigations are on.
