Attempt to loot ATM foiled

Hyderabad, January 12 (Siasat News): Some robbers attempted to loot ATM situated in Vanasthalipuram in the early hours today but fate had something otherwise.

According to details, some unidentified robbers entered the ATM chamber of Axis Bank and hit the machine with iron rods. Luckily a passer-by spotted them doing so and immediately closed the shutter.

The robbers were so coy that they broke the glasses of the chambers and fled leaving their motorcycle behind. Vansthalipuram police has claimed that the motorcycle was also stolen by the same robbers from somewhere.

A case has been registered and with the help of CCTV, the process of identification of the robbers is going on.

Wife commits suicide over reprimand

Hyderabad, January 12 (Siasat News): A woman who was very upset by her husband’s reprimand, committed suicide. This incident occurred at Laxmi Nagar, Kumharwadi, situated in Tappachabutra.

28-year-old Ambika had borrowed Rs. 28000 from her landlord but did not inform her husband about this. When her husband Vijay Kumar came to know about this, he became angry and reprimanded his wife.

Ambika was so upset that she took the extreme step of ending her life on January 9 by consuming poison. She was admitted to a hospital where she died.

Police Tappachabutra has registered a case and further investigations are on.
