Gang of thieves held with arms
Hyderabad, November 12 (Siasat News): Task force sleuths on Friday picked up four men who were planning to rob train travelers at knife point, and also pick pockets at the Madannapet graveyard and seized weapons from them.
Md. Shakeel, Yaqoob, Salman and Shaukat are accused of snatching and robbery. They operate on trains running between Uppuguda and Secunderabad railway stations, police said.
Harassed by man, wife ends life
Hyderabad, November 12 (Siasat News): Renuka, a 30-year-old woman, who attempted suicide by setting herself ablaze undergoing treatment at the Gandhi hospital on Friday.
Police said that Krishna, her husband, used to come home drunk and beat Renuka. He also suspected her fidelity.
Vexed with the harassment, Renuka resorted to the extreme step, police said. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Delayed marriage led to suicide
Hyderabad, November 12 (Siasat News): A young girl Renuka who was very upset with her delayed marriage, took the extreme step of suicide.
She was the resident of Hayathnagar. She succumbed to her burn injuries during the treatment in hospital.
Man dies in road accident
Hyderabad, November 12 (Siasat News): A 55-year0old cook died in a road accident in L B Nagar.
According to the details, Md. Mansoor, resident of Jahangir Nagar of L B Nagar, was crossing the road near Chintalkunta on November 9 where he was hit by a speeding motorcyclist killing him on the spot.
After panchnama, the dead body is shifted to the mortuary.
Fraudulent advocate arrested
Hyderabad, November 12 (Siasat News): An advocate who was allegedly involved in the frauds worth lakhs of rupees and was arrested by central crime station police.
According to the details, advocate Mukund Rao Satish resident of Rahimpura, along with his associates Sandhya Rani and Vijayalaxmi, deceived many unemployed students on promise of getting them recruited in SBI to the tune of 84 lakhs.
Follwong the complaints of the students at Mahakali Gopalpuram Market, Sultan Bazar and Begumpet police stations, the action was taken against them. Later this case was handed over to Central crime station.
