Man held for traveling on fake passport
Hyderabad, May 12 (Siasat News): The immigration officials at RGI arrested a man who was traveling on a fake passport.
According to the details, Sheikh Riyaz, 28 and native of Anantpur, had gone to Riyadh on a labour visa. On his arrival to Riyadh, his employer kept his passport with him. Moreover, he was being harassed by his employer and not provided enough food and shelter. Riyaz was not paid his salary for months.
He was fed up and left the place without obtaining his passport. As he was a good mechanic, he contacted some of his acquaintances and did the odd jobs and earned some money.
In the meantime, he paid 9000 Riyals to an agent who hailed from Kerala, and got a fake passport in the name of one Sheikh Subhani.
On this passport, when he arrived Hyderabad, he was caught and handed over to RGI police.
Wife commits suicide over harassment
Hyderabad, May 12 (Siasat News): A woman committed suicide at her parent’s house as her husband harassed her.
This incident took place in Osmania University police station limits. 25-year-old Maitamma has set herself ablaze.
Her husband Shiva Kumar was a labourer and had dumped his wife to her parent’s house. He used to harass her for more dowry. Police has registered a case.
Flesh trade in posh localities unearthed
Hyderabad, may 12 (Siasat News): The central zone team of Commissioner Task force has raided brothels being run in the posh localities of the city and arrested four pimps.
Police also released four young girls including a Bangladeshi woman from their clutches. These brothels were running in Domalguda’s Shiva apartment.
Police arrested one Bompally Babu who was the main culprit and used to take flats on rent in posh areas. Another culprit Shiva Kumar was also arrested from the same apartment. He used to advertise in TOI in the name of massage centers and was charging Rs. 3000 to 4000 from the customers.
A woman pimp Prabhavathi was also arrested. She hails from Vijayawada and has been running the brothel since last four years.
All arrested pimps are handed over to Chikkadpally police station.
