Girl student hangs self in hostel
(Siasat News): A girl student took the extreme step of committing suicide by hanging in her hostel premises in Miyapur.
According to inspector Miyapur Mr. Sudhir Kumar, the deceased Sheikh Sana, 17, daughter of one Mohd. Khaja Miya of Miryalguda. She was the student of Sri Chaitanya College and has been living in the college hostel.
Yesterday, she had gone to visit her uncle and after returning from there, instead of going to the class, she went to her hostel and committed suicide.
Police Miyapur is yet to get a complaint from the parents of the deceased.
Man hit by train, dies
(Siasat News): A man died when he was hit by a train on the tracks between Hafizpet and Chandanagar railway stations.
According to railway police Nampally, the deceased Karmariya, 40, resident of Sunil Nagar, Borabanda, was a labour.
Yesterday, he was crossing the tracks without realizing that a train fast approaching. By the time he realized, it was too late and died. Railway police is investigating.
Jail warden injured
(Siasat News): A jail warden in Cherlapally jail was severely injured when he was attacked by an inmate who used the meal plate.
The warden sustained severe injuries on his head and back. The inmate Sai Kumar, 30, was convicted for the murder of his own son in 2009 and sentenced to jail term. The cause of the attack is still unknown.
Harassment of in-laws led to suicide
(Siasat News): A woman committed suicide over the harassment of her husband and in-laws. This incident occurred in Charminar police limits where Swathi, 19, took the extreme step last night.
She was the wife of one Pandey of Petlaburj and was constant threat by her husband and in-laws for more dowry. When she could not tolerate the harassment, she ended her life by hanging.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
