Man held for fake passport

(Siasat News): The East Zone team of Commissioner’s Task Force has arrested a man with a fake passport and recovered other five passports from his possession.

He was later handed over to Abids police for further investigation. According to sub-inspector Mr. Madhu, one Guru Prasad had obtained passport in his real name in 1991 and had gone to Chennai to get an American visa but failed.

Later, he obtained another passport with a fake name and went to US in 1993 and  remained there for 8 long years. He was very smart, as he had lodged a complaint in US that his real passport was missing.

After that US government furnished him with temporary passport that lasts for just three years. He came to India in 2000 and wanted to renew his old passport, which was made in his real name, but fate had something otherwise. He could not do so as the police held him.

Infant fell in pond, dies

(Siasat News): A 4-year-old boy in Chhatrinaka fell into a pond in suspicious circumstances and died.

According to police, Vinod Kumar was the son of one Shankar of Uppuguda. However, he went missing on August 8.

His parents searched him at all possible places of their relatives but he could not be traced.

Later, he was found dead in the pond situated near his house. Police is investigating whether it was an accidental death or foul play.
