Post office employee held

(Siasat News): The anti-corruption wing of CBI have caught the administrative officer of Langar Houz post office red-handed while he was accepting a bribe of Rs. 2000.

It is said that one youth had approached the CBI and lodged his complaint against the officer Mangalappa who was asking for the money.

The complainant said that he wanted to transfer the Vikas Patra policy of Rs. 10,000 which belonged to his late grand father, in the name of his grand mother. And to do this, Mangalappa had demanded Rs. 2000.

CBI set a trap and held him red-handed. He was produced before the anti-corruption court and from handed over to judicial custody.

Petrol pump supervisor attacked, 4 arrested

(Siasat News): Police Kalepatthat has arrested four persons in connection with an attack on a petrol pump supervisor. The arrested are Feroz Khan, 21, Mirza Shahid Baig, 25, Md. Shakiruddin, 19 and 20-year-old Mohd. Azhar.

Inspector Kalepatthar Mr. Mohd. Majid said that earlier the accused had forcibly collected a sum of Rs. 20,000 from the owner and supervisor of HB petrol pump situated near Zoo park.

After some days, they again approached him and demanded money. Supervisor Amjad faltly refused this time.

Then all four of them attacked him and Amjad sustained severe injuries. After producing all four before the court, the police shifted them to jail.
