Alcoholic woman ends life
(Siasat News): An alcoholic woman commits suicide in Chatrinaka police station limits in old city. 55-year-old Tabi Bai was an alcoholic and did not give up the bad habit despite counseling by her relatives.

However, she set herself ablaze yesterday. The reason behind this extreme step is yet to be ascertained. She died in the hospital during the treatment.

Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.


Man commits suicide over police complaint by wife

(Siasat News): A man who was very upset over a complaint lodged by his wife to the police. This incident occurred in Meerpet police station limits where B V Srinivas Rao, 43, took the extreme step of hanging.

He was the native of Nizamabad and has been living in Nagarjuna colony. As per the details, Srinivas Rao’s wife Sandhya had left the house on December 24 as she developed suspicion over his character that he was having illicit relations with another woman.

Sandhya had lodged a complaint against her husband in Saroornagar police station. When her husband came to know, he felt degraded and took the extreme step.

Police has registered a case.

Notorious thief arrested

(Siasat News): Police Afzalgunj has arrested a thief who was involved in many thefts and recovered gold ornaments worth Rs. 3 lakhs.

According to police, the accused Mukesh Kumar alias Jagan, 29, was a notorious criminal.

Earlier, he was involved in theft cases occurred at Asifnagar, Langar Houz, Musheerabad, Habeebnagar, Tappachabutra, Saifabad, Narayanguda, Chikadpally and Golconda police station limits.
