Chandrayangutta, burglars haven
(Siasat News): The Chandrayangutta area of the old city has become a haven for thieves and burglars of late. In recent times, the incidents of theft and burglary went up and the activities of anti-social elements increased.

People of the locality are afraid to leave their houses locked as the burglars broke open the locks the committing the crimes. Yesterday, the house of one Afzal Khan of Millat Nagar, Jahangirabad. He had gone to meet his brother. When he came back he found his house burgled.

The burglars made their escape good with 30 tolas gold and Rs. 60,000 in cash.

Day before yesterday, another burglary was committed at the house of one Hamed Khan where 10 tolas gold, costly wrist watches and other costly items were looted. Police is seemed to be silent spectator whereas the residents of the locality are scared.

Police has registered both the cases and investigations are on but it is high time that police should inculcate confidence among the residents.

Minor falls in sump, dies

(Siasat News): A minor boy fell into a sump and died. This incident occurred in L B Nagar where Prem, 7, son of Sreenu of Banjara colony of NTR Nagar, was playing near his house along with his friend where a water sump was also situated.

The deceased was the student of LKG. He accidentally fell into the sump and died. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Man dies in road accident

(Siasat News): A man died in a road accident occurred in Hayathnagar. According to police sources, Bhim Singh, 26, a private employee was passing from Abdullahpurmet.

A big pile of soil accidentally fell on him, killing him instantly. The deceased was the resident of Patancheru. Further investigations are in progress.
