Fraud of Rs. 28 Crore unearthed
(Siasat News): Central Crime Station (CCS) has arrested two directors of Delta Cabs as they had deceived the people promising big dividends if they invest money in Taxi Cab business.
As per the details, the two directors Ahmed Hussain, 39 and Sajid Hussain, 40, had been running Delta Cabs at Ramkot. They had deceived 844 persons in the name of investing in the business in return of big dividends.
This is how they got Rs. 28 Crore. They had promised their ‘investors’ that if they invest in the business, they would get Rs. 8,500 every month as profit. This is how they collected Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 6,50,000 from each investor.
However, when the investors failed to get any profit despite having invested big money, they lodged complaint with CCS police.
A case was registered and the duo was arrested. 77 cars and other relevant documents were also seized from their possession.
One dies in train accident
(Siasat News): A man was hit by a train at Dabeerpura railway station in old city. According to railway police Kachiguda.
An unidentified 25-year-old man, while trying to cross the railway tracks near Dabeerpura railway station, he was hit by a train and died.
Railway police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
New bride burnt to death
(Siasat News): A newly wed bride was burnt to death in Kukatpally police limits where Habeebunnisa Begum, 23 was burnt to death by her in-laws.
This hair-raising incident had occurred on September 27 and she was admitted in a hospital with severe burn injuries but died late last night during the treatment.
She was married to one Zubair of Safdar Nagar, Moosapet just 16 months ago. Police said that at the time of the marriage Rs. 51,000 cash, a motorbike, 5 tolas gold and other dowry items were given.
However, the in-laws in their greed started demanding more and used to harass the deceased. On September 27, they assaulted her and set her ablaze.
Police has also recorded the dying statement of Habeebunnisa Begum. Further investigations are in progress.
Man fell to death
(Siasat News): A man fell down from the second floor of the building in suspicious circumstances and died. This incident occurred in Narsingi on September 28.
Police said that the deceased Rs. Ganesh, 55, native of West Bengal, has been residing in Narsingi and working as a labour.
He was working in a building at Kokapet where in suspicious circumstances; he lost his control and fell down from the Second floor of the building.
He was rushed to the hospital where he died during the treatment. Police is further investigating.
