Son kills father
Hyderabad, October 1 (Siasat News): A son killed his father in the jurisdiction of S R Nagar police station. The son was very upset as his father used to harass his mother.
According to police, one Pragi Yadiah, 58, was killed by his 27-year-old son Kishore. He was attacked by an iron rod. The deceased was a habitual drunkard and was living in Yousufguda.
He used to harass his wife in an inebriated condition every day. He did the same thing on September 28. At that time, his two sons Kishore and Raju were at home. They both were the silent spectators of their mother’s suffering.
When they could not tolerate any more, Kishore picked up an iron rod kept in a corner of the house and attacked his father injuring him severely. Yadiah died in the hospital during the treatment.
S R Nagar police has registered a case of murder and further investigations are on.
Girl ends life as snubbed by neighbours
Hyderabad, October 1 (Siasat News): A girl who was snubbed by her neighbours committed suicide. This incident occurred in the jurisdiction of Falaknuma police station.
According to police sources, Uzma, 18, was the daughter of one Ibrahim of Falaknuma and earning her living with embroidery work.
Yesterday, she was cleaning the courtyard of her house, then a neighbouring woman hurled a stone at a hen. Uzma objected to this. This incident did not go well with the neighbours and they all assembled near Uzma’s house and reprimanded her.
As Uzma was said to be very sensitive, she could not bear the humiliation and ended her life by setting herself ablaze. She died in the hospital during the treatment.
Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
DJS activist arrested
Hyderabad, October 1 (Siasat News): Mir Chowk police3 has arrested an activist of Darsgah-e-Jihad wa Shahadat (DJS) Mohd, Bin Omar.
According to reliable sources, Mir Chowk police and Task Force has arrested Omar from Dabeerpura. In the meantime, Mir Chowk police while confirming the arrest of Omar, said that he was arrested following a complaint and investigations are on.
According to sources, police has seized a karate kit from his possession, which was being used for physical training. Omar hails from Shaheen Nagar.
M A Majid, president DJS, condemned the arrest of Omar and demanded his immediate release.
