Gambling dens raided

(Siasat News): Task Force and SOT conducted raids on gambling dens situated in Hyderabad and Cyberabad.

The SOT team of Malkajgiri raided a house where gambling was on in full swing and arrested 10 persons, seized Rs. 70,000 and 12 mobile phones.

Another raid was conducted in Ghatkesar police limits and arrested four persons. The SOT team also seized Rs. 30,000 in cash, four mobile phones and 3 motorbikes.

The third raid was conducted at a residential apartment situated at Hindi Nagar in Panjagutta and arrested seven persons whereas Rs. 31,000 in cash, five mobile phones and other items were also seized.

Further investigations are in progress.

Labour dies in train accident

(Siasat News): A labour, who was trying to alight from a running train near Uppuguda, lost his balance and fell down on the tracks that proved fatal.

According to railway police Kachiguda, the deceased Laxmanna, 65, native of Nagar Kurnool, district Mahboobnagar, wanted to get down at Uppuguda station but the train was not fully stopped as it had slowed down while entering the platform when Laxmanna tried to get down and lost his balance, fell down on the track and died on the spot.

Police has registered a case and the dead body was shifted to the hospital for post mortem.

Man dies of heart attack in lodge

(Siasat News): A man died in VJR lodge situated near Shamshabad National Highway.

As per the details, the deceased Balusundaram, native of Tamilnadu, had come to Hyderabad for business purpose and had checked in along with his friend in VJR lodge.

However, in the evening, he had consumed liquor in excess quantity and went to sleep but the next morning, he was found dead.

His family members were informed and a case of suspicious death was registered.
