Woman’s body found in sack

Hyderabad, December 10 (Siasat News): The body of a woman stuffed in a gunny bag was abandoned near a transformer at L N Nagar in Yousufguda on Friday morning.

Some locals who saw stray dogs trying to tear off the bag, informed the matter to the
Police. The victim was identified as K Rani, 28 of site-III Borabanda.

Banjara Hills police inspector M Sudarshan said that Rani was a maidservant and reportedly an alcoholic.

She might be a woman of easy virtue who had left the house and did not return. Further investigations are on.

Passion for bikes turned boy a thief

Hyderabad, December 10 (Siasat News): An intermediate student, who had a passion for motorbikes, was arrested for stealing a bike.

The 16-year-old boy of Gowlipura, resorted to steal the bike when his parents rejected his repeated pleas to purchase motorcycle for him.

On November 19, the boy stole the motorcycle parked at a bar at Uppuguda.

Based on a complaint by Saraiah, two days after the theft, Chhatrinaka police registered a case.
