Man found with head smashed

Hyderabad, June 10: Shamshabad police are investigating the murder of an unidentified man whose body was discovered with the head smashed by boulders at Ghansimiyaguda on National Highway 7 at Shamshabad.

According to police, the body of the man, aged around 50 was discovered late on Tuesday night. He was clothed in a white kurta and pyjama.

Police believe that the killers smashed the victim’s head with boulders, resulting in his instantaneous death.

Police officials pressed the dog squad into service and are scouring the area for clues.

The body has been shifted to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy and a case has been and registered under Section 302 of IPC.

Woman dies as clothes catch fire while cooking

Hyderabad, June 10:  A 24-year-old woman died of her burns while undergoing treatment on Wednesday after her clothes caught fire while she was cooking at Saleemnagar on Tuesday.

According to Pahadi Shareef police the woman has been identified as Zareena Begum wife of Shaik Mujeeb Shareef.

She was cooking when the saree she was wearing caught fire. On hearing her screams, people of the locality rushed her to Osmania General Hospital where she succumbed to her burns on Wednesday.

Her body was handed over to her relatives after postmortem.

Further investigations are on.


Man killed as bike collides with tractor

Hyderabad, June 10:  A 36-year-old man was killed when the two-wheeler he was riding on, collided with a tractor at Maisaram mandal in Ranga Reddy district.

According to police, the victim was identified as Bramhachari. He was riding his motorcycle when a tractor coming from the opposite direction collided with his bike, leaving him seriously injured.

He was rushed to Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.

The tractor driver managed to escape. Police are trying to identify him.

A case has been registered section 304-A IPC.

Employees kill businessman

Hyderabad, June 10: Business rivalry got the better of humanity, leading to the murder of a man by his own employees at Shamshabad on Wednesday.

According to police, the 26-year-old victim, Mohammed Hafeez was a resident of Koheer mandal in Zaheerabad.

He had a farm house in Madura, Shamshabad in which he cultivated mangoes.

Hafeez was involved in a dispute over the sharing of revenue with his business partners recently.

On Tuesday night, three employees working at his farm, Azeem, Shuja and Attu attacked him with iron rods.

Hafeez was immediately shifted to a private hospital for treatment. As his condition turned critical, he was shifted to Osmania General Hospital.

He breathed his last late on Tuesday night.

A case has been registered and a hunt is on to nab the assailants.
