Police recovered kidnapped minor, nine arrested
(Siasat News): Police has successfully recovered the 4-year-old boy Khaleel from the clutches of the kidnappers who was missing from Chintalmet in Rajendranagar.
The special operation team and Shamshabad police has conducted joint operation and successfully set free the minor and arrested nine persons including two women. One of the women is absconding.
These details were provided by Commissioner of Police Cyberabad Mr. Sandeep Shindaliya. In a press conference the minor was handed over to his parents and further said that Khaleel was kidnapped on October 3 from Chintalmet and was sold for Rs. 15000.
The kingpin Farheen Begum, 20, resident of Suleman Nagar, Aziz Khan, 22, resident of Najam Nagar, Parveen Begum, 25, resident of Ghode ki Qabar, Syed Waheed, 28 were arrested whereas another woman Farhana Begum is absconding.
Syed Waheed had three daughters and he was desirous to have a male child. The tragic side of the crime is that Waheed’s 5-month-old son had expired some time back and he wanted a son by hook or crook.
Though he wanted to adopt a boy from a poor family for his upbringing but he failed in his efforts. Later, Waheed contacted his brother-in-law Aziz Khan.
He along with Farheen hatched a conspiracy and kidnapped 4-year-old Khaleel. Following the complaint of the parents, police came into action and Mr. Sandeep Shandaliya took the personal interest to set Khaleel free from the clutches of the accused.
The parents of Khaleel extended their gratitude to the police after getting back their son. Other police officials were also present on the occasion.
