Under trial dies in hospital
(Siasat News): An under trial convict died in Osmania hospital . Police said that the deceased Ramu, resident of Musheerabad was involved in a murder case occurred in Gandhi Nagar police limits.
He was arrested on July 14 and kept in Chanchalguda Jail.
However, on August 2, Ramu’s health deteriorated and when his condition became critical, he was taken to Osmania General Hospital’s prisoner’s ward where he died during the treatment last night.
Gambling den raided
(Siasat News): West Zone police raided Society Recreation Club at Srinagar colony in Ameerpet and arrested 26 persons.
As per the details, the West zone police came into action after a tip-off that a gambling den was illegally operated at Society Club and the same place was raided where the gambling was going on in full swing.
Police also seized Rs. 2,22,000, mobile phones and other articles from the place. Further investigations are on.
Missing woman’s dead body found
(Siasat News): Narsingi police has found the dead body of a woman from a water pit who went missing from her house.
She was identified as on Parvatamma, 30 wife of one Maliah of Puppalguda. The duo was the native of Mahboobnagar and recently shifted to Hyderabad.
Maliah started autorickshaw driving and his wife became a labourer. However, yesterday she left home as usual in the morning but did not come back in the evening.
Police Narsingi said that the dead body was found in a water pit situated very close to her residence. A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
