Gang rape accused arrested
(Siasat News): Chaitanyapuri police has arrested three accused involved in the gang rape. Police sources said that Ramavat Nagesh, Ramavat Prabhakar and Ramavat Usha Naik were arrested. All are between 20 to 30 years of age.
They are involved in gang raping a 24-year-old hospital employee and the resident of L B Nagar.
On the day of the crime, she had ventured out to bring food during the night hours when the accused kidnapped her. She was later taken to a secluded area and was gang raped.
Further interrogation is in progress.
Woman electrocuted to death
(Siasat News): A woman electrocuted to death in Jeedimetla. The deceased Amiyamma was the wife of one Sudhakar and native of Nizamabad.
The couple was residing at Jeedimetla. Yesterday, during the work she had accidentally came into contact with a live wire and had sustained severe burn injuries.
Though she was taken to the hospital but succumbed to her injuries. Police is further investigating.
Student fell off the building, dies
(Siasat News): A student in jagatgirigutta fell off the building in suspicious circumstances and died.
It is said that the deceased Madhu Mohan, 11, resident of Makhdoom Nagar. Yesterday, he had gone to the terrace of his building to check the water level in the water tank.
Police is of the opinion that during the checking of water level, he might have lost his balance and had fallen on the ground. He had sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital during the treatment.
Jagatgirigutta police has registered a case and further investigations are in progress.
