Muslim auto driver brutally murdered
(Siasat News): A Muslim auto driver was brutally murdered in Rajendranagar. Police suspect that his friends might be involved in the crime.
According to inspector Rajendranagar Mr. Umender said that the deceased Mohd. Farooq was the resident of Talabkutta and used to come in Rajendranagar area to be with his friends.
On December 7, he usually left his house but did not return. His family members were under the impression that he might have got some customers for a long distance that he failed to return home.
However, this morning, Farooq was found dead near pillar No. 170 in Upperpally. He was brutally killed with a heavy boulder.
A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
Six gamblers arrested
(Siasat News): The SOT officials arrested six persons for gambling last night from Ghansimiyaguda in Shamshabd and handed them over to Shamshabad police.
As per the details, the six drivers all from Kerala, were busy in gambling when their place was raided by SOT officials. An amount of Rs. 5210 was also seized from their possession.
Sub-inspector Mohd. Ahmed Pasha registered cases against them and handed them over to judicial custody.
Woman commits suicide
(Siasat News): A woman in Miyapur committed suicide over the constant harassment of her husband.
According to Miyapur police, the deceased Siddamma, 25, was the wife of one Siddaiah of New Bits colony in Miyapur. He had a very bad habit of consuming liquor every day and beating his wife under its influence.
Siddamma was very upset over day-to-day arguments and assaults.
On December 6, she had poured kerosene on her body and had set herself ablaze. She was severely burnt and was shifted to a hospital where she died during the treatment last night.
