Man murdered in L B Nagar

(Siasat News): A man was brutally murdered in L B Nagar and later his dead body was dumped in a secluded area.

Though police has recovered the body but its identification was done late and the deceased was identified as 34-year-old Venkataiah. Police sources said that the deceased was the native of Mahboobnagar.

On May 29, the deceased had a boozing session with some unknown persons and during the same; he was murdered by crushing his head with a heavy boulder.

Police is yet to ascertain the motive behind the murder. Empty liquor bottles are also recovered from the crime spot.

Further investigations are on.

Man drowns in Hussain Sagar

(Siasat News): A man drowned in Hussain Sagar in suspicious circumstances. It is said that the deceased was busy in some renovation work on the bridge in connection with the celebrations of Telangana Formation Day.

Ramgopalpet police sources said this. The deceased was identified as one Mallesh of Nallakunta. He was 40. Police further said that the deceased was painting the bridge wall.

It is suspected that as the deceased was an alcoholic, he might have lost his balance and had fallen into the lake.

When he remained disappeared, his fellow workers raised an alarm and police was informed. Later, his body was found floating.

A case of suspicious death is registered and further investigations are on.

Argument over school fee caused death

(Siasat News): In a bizarre incident a husband-wife duo involved in heated argument in connection with the hiked fees of the school of their children, led to the death of husband.

This incident occurred in Chhatrinaka where one Ashok Kumar, 35, committed suicide. The deceased was a painter by profession and residing at Uppuguda.

On May 29, the duo had exchanged heated argument over the hiked school fees of their children.

Ashok Kumar was very upset ever since and took the extreme step of ending his life by consuming pesticide. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.

Minister’s stolen phone recovered, accused arrested

(Siasat News): Hyderabad police said that the stolen cellphone of Union Minister Mr. Bandaru Dattatreya has been found.

Sub-inspector (Detective) Musheerabad Mr. S Raman said the accused G Raj Kumar, 52, is arrested and recovered the stolen cellphone valued at Rs. 13000 from his possession.

This phone was kept for charging in the visiting room of his Ramnagar residence on May 15 and from there, someone had stolen the handset.

Police has monitored the CCTV footage and traced the accused who had come to the residence of the minister to get a recommendation letter in connection with his tour to a temple and had stolen the cellphone.
