Car thief arrested

(Siasat News): Cyberabad police has arrested a man for stealing a Skoda car. Police sources said that the thief Rajesh belonged to Nalgonda district and was arrested at Kanchipuram.

He had changed the number plate of the car. Police had constituted 5 teams to nab him and visited various showrooms in the city to obtain the details of the actual thief.

His criminal activities were the cause of trouble for his mother who had recently died out of shock.

After getting his details from various showrooms, police had intensified its investigations and ultimately the thief was arrested from Kanchipuram in Tamilnadu.

Youth drowns during swimming

(Siasat News): A youth drowned during swimming at Kotwalguda in Shamshabad.

As per the details, the deceased Mohd. Abdul Shahbaz, 18, resident of Mahmood Nagar colony, Bahadurpura, along with his other three friends Ahmed Anwar, Sheikh Nizam and Sheikh Mohammed had reached Kotwalguda to swim in a pond.

Shahbaz didn’t know swimming and accidentally fell into the pond as he foot was slipped. He shouted for help but could not be saved.

His dead body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for post mortem while Shamshabad RGI police has registered a case.

Two held with gold at airport

(Siasat News): The custom officials of RGI airport arrested two passengers and seized 1109 grams gold from their possession.

The passengers had reached Hyderabad from Jeddah through an Air India flight. However, during the custom check, the officials found four gold biscuits and two bangles from the socks and shoes of the passengers valued at Rs. 32,60,000.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.

Woman ends life over misbehaviour

(Siasat News): A woman in Mailardevpally committed suicide over the misbehaviour and alleged her to be a woman of easy virtue by her brother-in-law (sister’s husband).

It is said that the deceased Renuka, 36, was the wife of one Malaiah of Vinayak Nagar. She had set herself ablaze on January 26. Her relative Hari was also injured while trying to save her.

Police sources said that Renuka had lended Rs. 2,00,000 to her sister Balamani. When she had gone to the house of her sister to remind her about the repayment of the said borrowed money, her brother-in-law Sadanand not only misbehaved with her but alleged her that she possessed loose character.

Renuka could not take this insult in her stride and took the extreme step. A case has been registered and further investigations are in progress.
