Two passengers arrested at RGI airport
(Siasat News): The custom officials at RGI airport arrested two passengers during their luggage checking and seized 735 grams gold from their possession.
As per the details, the flight had reached the Hyderabad from Dubai. The two passengers belonged to Hyderabad city.
The custom officials found the gold in their baggage and when they were interrogated, they could not give a satisfactory reply resulting in their arrest.
Further investigations are on.
Woman kidnapped and raped, 3 arrested
(Siasat News): Hayathnagar police has arrested three persons involved in Pedda Amberpet kidnap and gang rape case of a woman.
However, police did not confirm their arrest. Police sources said that three culprits had kidnapped the woman some days back.
The irony of it is that police did not disclose the identities of the accused who had gang raped the woman.
Police is grilling the trio and it is expected that the mystery would be solved shortly.
Notorious thief arrested
(Siasat News): Shamshabad CCS police has arrested a notorious thief and recovered a stolen Swift car, gas cylinder and cellphone from his possession.
He is identified as 22-year-old P Suresh alias Suri. A notorious thief operating in Shamshabad.
Suicide of medical girl student, lady professor absconding
(Siasat News): The PG student of Guntur Medical College Sandhya Rani who had committed suicide some time back and had alleged that the lady professor Srilaxmi was responsible for her death in her suicide note.
Now this case has taken another twist as the lady professor had submitted a bail application before her arrest as the police had termed her as the culprit in the case. Sandhya Rani was the resident of Malakpet in Hyderabad.
Srilaxmi is absconding after Sandhya’s suicide as she had alleged that lady professor used to harass her a lot. The court had adjourned the hearing of the bail petition till November 3.
In the meantime, the junior doctors also staged a protest and demanded the arrest of Arilaxmi.
Talking to the media, the students said that due to the harassment of the lady professor, Sandhya Rani had taken the extreme step. Junior doctors also staged a silent protest in front of Guntur Court.
