Semi-nude body of the woman found
Hyderabad, May 09 (Siasat News): The semi-nude body of an unidentified woman was found at Munneguda under Vanasthalipuram police station limits.
It is suspected that the 35-year-old woman might be gang raped and later killed by some miscreants. According to the police, the sari of the deceased woman was found hanging from a nearby tree.
Her both the hands were found tied backward. Vanasthalipuram police also found some empty liquor bottles from near the dead body. Police has registered a case and further investigations are on.
The dead body is shifted to Osmania Hospital’s mortuary for identification.
Brothel raided
Hyderabad, May 09 (Siasat News): The team of Commissioner Task force central zone, raided brothels being run at Panjagutta and Bowenpally areas and arrested pimps and five customers.
V Kumaraswamy, Pratap and Renuka Devi had hired residential flats in posh areas where they were running the brothel by bringing the sex workers from Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata apart from few districts of Andhra Pradesh.
They used to charge between 20 to 50 thousand from each customer. After the raid, the Task force released three women (sex workers) from the clutches of pimps and seized Rs. 3500 cash, three mobile phones and other articles from their possession.
Police has registered a case against the arrested persons.
Car driver held for theft
Hyderabad, May 09 (Siasat News): Jubilee Hills police has arrested a car driver for stealing the gold ornaments and diamonds worth Rs. 15 lakhs from the house of his employer and recovered the stolen items.
According to the details given by Mr. Ravindra Reddy, Asstt. Commissioner of Police, Banjara Hills, to the press conference, the owner of the house Mr. Jagdish Prasad along with his wife, had gone to attend a function on April 27 and left the keys of the almirah in their bedroom.
However, on April 30, car driver Santosh, on the pretext of searching the keys of the car, entered the bedroom of his employer and found the keys of the almirah. He opened the almirah and stolen the ornaments and diamonds and hid the booty under the seat of the car.
The irony of it was that Mr. Jadgish Prasad did not suspect his driver whereas other house servants were grilled. Jubilee Hills police has registered a case and was suspected about the role of the driver.
He was arrested on the basis of suspicion and was grilled where car driver Santosh gave in and disclosed his involvement in the theft.
This case was being investigated by Jubilee Hills inspector Mr. K Narsing Rao. He opined that general public should obtain all the details including the identity card of the person they are going to recruit in their houses as servant or driver and later, the obtained information should be forwarded to the police.
