House burgled

Hyderabad, April 7 (Siasat News): A laptop, five grams of gold and Rs. 8000 was stolen from the house of s sub inspector at Lakdikapul. Incidentally the quarters are very close to the office of the DGP.

According to the Saifabad police detective inspector, Mr. K Shankar, the victim, Ms Revathi, an SI working in the communication department in the commissioner’s office in Basheerbagh was away on Sunday, while her husband, Mr. Venugopal stayed back.

Mr. Venugopal left for his friend’s house and returned only on Wednesday to find his house burgled. Saifabad police have registered a case and further investigations are on.

Two mini buses seized

Hyderabad, April 7 (Siasat News): During a checking, the Road Transport Authority caught two mini buses with the same registration number, AP29U8441, registered in Ranga Reddy district.

The mini buses have been seized and the drivers have been taken into custody. RTA sources said that the vehicles’ owners were trying to avoid paying vehicle tax.

The buses were caught on the way from Madhapur to Hi-tech city by the Ibrahimpatnam RTO, Mr. Vinod Kumar.

The mini buses belonged to Unic and Premium travel agents. They have evaded the motor vehicle tax amounting to Rs. 1 lakh.
